About TFFC

The primary offering at TFFC is our incredible fly-fishing for Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout. Catch-and-release is preferred, however, members are allowed to keep their catch (limited per person/family by a 'bag limit'). All trout caught need to be recorded for stocking and recording purposes. We have Rainbow trout and Brown trout available in our 7 dams.

The area has many routes and trails and is a popular destination for off-road cyclists. We have our own mountain bike track built by fellow member enthusiasts

The MTB track has been marked with signage to make navigating the 7km route easier. These have been demarcated with green arrow signs, the first of which is at the gate as you leave the house.

Middelpunt farm boasts an incredible variety of birdlife. There is a bird hide on the farm and a multitude of rich birdlife areas. With all our water resources there is an abundance of waterfowl and birds of prey including Fish Eagles. Our thanks to Sean Naude for compiling and updating the list.

With the veld in a pristine condition. plus large areas of both permanent and seasonal wetland, Middelpunt in the summer, is thus a wildflower hotspot, especially for the orchid family
